Supporting 5G service orchestration with formal verification

چکیده
The 5G communication technology has the ability to create logical networks, called network slices, which are specifically carved serve particular application domains. Due mix of different criticality, it becomes crucial verify if applications? service level agreements met. In this paper, we propose a novel framework for modeling and verifying orchestration, considering simultaneous access admission new requests slices as well virtual function scheduling routing. By combining in userfriendly UML, with UPPAAL model checking satisfiability-modulo-theories based finding, our supports both formal verification orchestration. We demonstrate approach on e-health case study showing how user, no knowledge methods, can system UML that meets its requirements.

Web Service Choreography Verification Using Z Formal Specification
Web Service Choreography Description Language (WS-CDL) describes and orchestrates the services interactions among multiple participants. WS-CDL verification is essential since the interactions would lead to mismatches. Existing works verify the messages ordering, the flow of messages, and the expected results from collaborations. In this paper, we present a Z specification of WS-CDL. Besides ve...

Abstr act. When set of basic web service is built, the next step is to create more complex one. A programmatic approach uses declarative language such as BPEL. This kind of representation is verbose and needs assistance for the creation of business process. We defined a generative strategy leading by formal specification. Because, web service composition languages use standard operators like se...
متن کاملTowards a unified formal model for service orchestration and choreography
The growth of Internet has extended the scope of software applications, leading to network-based architectures. The main characteristic of these architectures is that they restrict the communication between remote components to message passing. Service-oriented computing is a solution to organise the exchange of messages in a network-based architecture, by using services as primitive components...
متن کاملGoal-Oriented and Procedural Service Orchestration A Formal Comparison
Goals form a declarative description of the desired end result of (part of) an orchestration. A goal-oriented orchestration language is an orchestration language in which these goals are part of the language. The advantage of using goals explicitly in the language is added flexibility in handling failures. In this paper, we investigate how goal-oriented mechanisms for handling failures compare ...

Service-oriented computing aspires to an unprecedented level of platform-independence and inter-operability of software components for intra-and inter-organizational business processes through standard protocols and languages for workflows and process-oriented applications. The Web Service Business Process Execution Language (WS-BPEL) and the Web Service Choreography Description Language (WS-CD...
